Run Fest

Watched the Ind vs pak match yesterday. It was awesome. I had to go to my friends house which is like 20 miles away, to watch the match.I was ready to go at 10pm, as the first ODi started at 10.30pm.But my friend told me that the match starts only at 11.30pm. I Forgot that USA added an hour to its clock in the weekend.I was wondering whether i have to go or not?.It will be very late and i have work the next day.But decided to see it anyway.Turned out to be a very good decision.India scored its 3rd highest ODI score.

I think it was the 3rd over. The Najafgarh man hit sami for a six.It was an inside out shot over extra covers, which went like a missile.Ravi shastri commented
Just a reminder mohammed sami is a pace bowler and he is not a leg spinner.
Sehwag decimated the attack. He had all the time in the world to hit shot's like that.Afridi was at the receiving end today, sehwag hit him for 4 continuos fours.

Ganguly acted out another chapter from his book "How to get clean bowled".His wretched form continues. But he did a great job by promoting dhoni up the order.

The much talked about jharkhand hitter has arrived.Mahendra singh dhoni, who has been knocking the indian team door since his great performance in nairobi tri series, played a great knock. He now has the highest score against pakistan by any indian batsmen and he is also the 2nd indian wicketkeeper after dravid to have hit a century in a ODI.

It is very early to judge him, but he is playing with a straight bat, runs well between the wickets and tries to score every ball.If he is consistent, India would be having 2 sehwag's in the team.

Dravid was there as solid as ever. Not a single risky shot, beautifully rotated the strike and gave more opportunity for dhoni. when dhoni was stepping out of the crease to get single's against spinners, dravid did that nonchalantly staying with in the crease.

The tail wagged with zaheer and balaji managing to clear the boundaries couple of times. A great match.
